It’s the 50th birthday of windsurfing in New Zealand and you’re invited to join us to celebrate in style with a reunion dinner and party. It’s going to be an incredible night of reconnecting with old friends, spinning yarns, and celebrating the many achievements of so many Kiwi windsurfers and industry innovators.
Join hundreds of your mates from 5.30 pm for drinks on the Quarterdeck, followed by a buffet dinner, speeches, and plenty of time to rekindle friendships & connect twith the next-gen. The event will also see the launch of Bruce Trotter’s chronicle of New Zealand windsurfing, the book ‘In the Footstraps of Giants’ – a must-read.
During the afternoon (1.00pm-5.00pm) the NZ Windfoiling Squad will be showcasing their skills on the water off the Squadron breakwater, please come down and check out the action and meet the future sailors in our Sport.
