Excited to share with you that we have partnered with Roof Space as a sponsor of Windsurfing NZ.
Roof Space is a peer-to-peer platform that connects people who need to send large sports items with people travelling the same way – utilising roof space, vehicle space or trailer space.
This partnership is an awesome initiative as it creates a passive sponsorship fund every six months for our organisation to pay for expenses throughout the year. As a club, we will raise sponsorship money by sending items or relocating items through Roof Space around NZ.
How to set up your profile:
- Sign up to Roof Space for free.
- Click ‘account settings’ located in the menu dropdown.
- Under ‘Club/organisation’ select ‘Windsurfing NZ’’. Your profile will then be connected withour organisation.
- Every item you list or item you relocate will count towards our organisation’s total tier level.
Every six months Roof Space will count the total number of items sent or relocated by our club and match it to the tier level of sponsorship.
How the sponsorship tiered system works:
-Tier 1: Send or relocate 10+ boards/kit/items every 6 months with Roof Space= $80 of sponsorship
-Tier 2: Send or relocate 15+ boards/kit/items every 6 months with Roof Space= $140 of sponsorship
-Tier 3: Send or relocate 20+ boards/kit/items every 6 months with Roof Space= $200 of sponsorship
-Tier 4: Send or relocate 25+ boards/kit/items every 6 months with Roof Space= $280 of sponsorship
-Tier 5: Send or relocate 30+ boards/kit/items every 6 months with Roof Space= $400 of sponsorship
