AGM this Monday, Brazz bar, 8pm, do come along, catch up with old friends, meet new sailors to the area, tell us about any recent missions and talk about what you want from the local club... Also think about whether you'd be prepared to do anything, Sue and Andrew are flat out and need a break.
Last year Auckland turned it on with a stellar day of freestyle action. Wellingtonian Tim Haxell had to produce his best, to fend off the Aucklanders, to take the title down to the Capital.
Haxell, 24, will have his work cut out again this year. The return of Wellington bread freestyle master Tom Taylor will present stiff competition. Taylor, once winner of the international JP Young Gun Freestyle Camp, will have to work hard having been off the water this year.

This weekend (1st & 2nd December) is the 2nd Round of the South Island Cup.
Skippers meeting is at 11am at the DWA Clubrooms.
Entry is $20 per competitor and this pays for the boat hire from Ravensbourne YC and BBQ
Forecast at this stage is for Nor Easters on the Saturday.
We have at least 3 people from out of town coming, so lets all get out there and show them how it's done!
The 2012 New Zealand Freestyle National Championships will be held from Dec. 1 to 2 in Wellington New Zealand.
The Championships will be organised by the WWA Wellington Windsurfing Association, for and on behalf of WNZ Windsurfing New Zealand.
The event will be based in Wellington, an exact location still to be confirmed.
During Dec. the weather conditions are generally windy. Expect the full range of wind conditions from 15 to 40knots. Temperatures require at least a summer wetsuit.
